Since the lockdown measurements tightened up in the UK, a lot of travellers had to head home. We know that some of you had plans to travel to Australia and consequently to the pandemic had to postpone your trip, some of you had to even book a return flight after as long as several weeks spent at the continent. Backpacking adventures have become a tradition to a lot of UK travellers. Some of you shared with us how much you miss travelling and that you can't want to be allowed to travel safely again so you can book a one-way ticket to Sydney.
Although we are not able to transport you to the "Land Down Under", we can try to bring you a piece of Aussie culture. We decided to take a walk down memory lane and revisit some of our interviews with Australian brands - from reusable coffee cups to Aztec rugs and linen bedding, here are some sustainable brands you can shop products from to incorporate the Australian vibe in your home.

I Love Linen
If you want to cosy up your home and you don't know where to start, head over to I Love Linen's website. The brand is a veteran at incorporating linen into sophisticated beddings, womenswear and home accessories. The materials they use are sustainably sourced as the brand is dedicated to making your home more elegant in the most convenient and eco kind of way. Founder, Lauren Roe, was inspired by the comfort of the boutique hotels she was staying at to create the same effortless luxurious feel in her own home, and now you can can too.
These Aztec cotton rugs are detailed, eye catching and the perfect gift to accompany travellers on their adventures. The brand donates proceedings of every sale to non-profits that support their mission of reducing plastic and saving marine life. Founders Jake and Jade are a couple from Adelaide, South Australia, on a mission to inspire travellers to explore more of our great big world. After a trip to Bali they encountered the devastating effect of plastic pollution in our oceans and wanted to change the way things are. Jade talked to us about their journey, the inspiration behind the designs and why it matters to make more eco conscious choices.
When the KeepCup reusable cups were released for the first time, they changed the way people approached their coffee rituals on daily basis. Suddenly, different coffee shops and roasteries teamed up with the brands to sell the cool-looking cups and work towards a cleaner environment. KeepCup is a great example about how little things we do on daily basis, such as ditch the single used takeaway cups and use a glass cup instead, can make a huge difference. We spoke to the founder, Abigail Forsyth, on creating the world’s first barista-standard reusable coffee cup and expanding from Australia to UK and many European destinations.
