Reykjavik is the world's northern capital and a home to a very abstract and mesmerising landscape. Visually, it looks like there is so much going on. The buildings are colourfully painted in pastel shades and we couldn't take our eyes off the natural wonders and the landscapes. It is clean, tidy and well put together. Despite its smaller size, the capital city has a very cosmopolitan vibe and is enjoying a lot of interest from tourists in the recent year.

In the summertime, the sun never sets in Reykjavik, while in the winter there are weeks, when night time seems to last forever, and no sun ever shines upon the land. Thanks to its location, Iceland's capital is very closely positioned to the Northern Lights and the Blue Lagoon, so a stay there can lead to so many more opportunities to explore the country further.

We must mention the nightlife too, although it is not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the cold Iceland corners. A typical Nordic vibe of bohemian cool is carefully combined with a sense of eccentricity to ensure that even a few days stent there will turn out to be like nothing else you will ever experience again. Very cold, yet inviting, Reykjavik awaits tourists from all over the world.

There are hotels, hostels and guest-houses - take your peak. The mini apartments will make you feel as if you're treated as kings and queens of the cold land for a while. Once you have ensured that you have booked a place to stay, all you've got to do is map out all the things you want to see and go outside exploring your way through Iceland's capital.
