PORTUGAL

Tropical beaches, delicious food and good weather – welcome to Portugal. The locals know how to have fun and seeing people dance on the streets in certain areas is not a surprise. With Portuguese being the official language in 9 countries, the locals have a lot of culture they share with others and therefore a lot to be proud of. Over half of the world’s cork production is sourced from Portugal, which is probably the reason why the wine just seems to taste better when drinking it under the Portugal sun.

The world’s oldest bookstore is located in Portugal’s capital and the country is also the home of one of the world’s oldest universities. It is known that half of the ‘New World’ belonged to Portugal once so there are tons of reasons why you should visit it if you haven’t already and learn more about the local’s culture and traditions.
